Non-performing loans reached BDT 992 bil in second quarter of 2021 in Bangladesh, according to the National Central Bank. This is 4.33% more than in the previous quarter.
Historically, non-performing loans in Bangladesh reached an all time high of BDT 1,163 bil in 3Q2019 and an all time low of BDT 502 bil in 4Q2014.
Bangladesh has been ranked 10th within the group of 55 countries we follow in terms of non-performing loans.
