Number of banks reached 22.0 banks in 2021 in Kuwait, according to the National Central Bank. This is 4.35% less than in the previous year.

Historically, number of banks in Kuwait reached an all time high of 23.0 banks in 2020 and an all time low of 11.0 banks in 2004.
