Number of maritime oil tankers reached 80.7 vessels in 2011 in Latvia, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 24.0% less than in the previous year.
Historically, number of maritime oil tankers in Latvia reached an all time high of 810 vessels in 1994 and an all time low of 4.01 vessels in 2004.
