Number of new executive cars sold reached 117 thousand in 2016 in Italy, according to ACEA. This is 27.8 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, number of new executive cars sold in Italy reached an all time high of 210 thousand in 2007 and an all time low of 76.7 thousand in 2013. When compared to Italy's main peers, number of new executive cars sold in Austria amounted to 48.3 thousand, 140 thousand in France and 65.3 thousand in Switzerland in 2016.
