Oil production reached 40.8 mil tonnnes in 2017 in Libya, according to the BP Statistical Review of World Energy. This is 103% more than in the previous year.
Historically, oil production in Libya reached an all time high of 160 mil tonnnes in 1970 and an all time low of 20.1 mil tonnnes in 2016.
Libya has been ranked 23rd within the group of 48 countries we follow in terms of oil production.
