Historically, onion consumption per capita in Poland reached an all time high of 17.2 kg in 2004 and an all time low of 4.77 kg in 1962. When compared to Poland's main peers, onion consumption per capita in Czech Republic amounted to 9.18 kg, 7.62 kg in Germany, 16.2 kg in Russia and 21.1 kg in Ukraine in 2017.
