Patent applications of non-residents reached 1,764 in 2017 in Ukraine, according to World Bank. This is 5.26 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, patent applications of non-residents in Ukraine reached an all time high of 2,872 in 2008 and an all time low of 555 in 1994. When compared to Ukraine's main peers, patent applications of non-residents in Poland amounted to 117, 80.0 in Romania and 14,106 in Russia in 2017.
