Perlite production reached 210,000 tonnes in 2010 in Japan, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 4.55% less than in the previous year.
Historically, perlite production in Japan reached an all time high of 304,300 tonnes in 1996 and an all time low of 65,000 tonnes in 1976.
