Petrol-Fuelled Cars (As % of New Cars Sold) in European Union

Petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold reached 31.1% in fourth quarter of 2022 in the European Union, according to ACEA. This is 14.6% less than in the previous quarter.

Historically, petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold in the European Union reached an all time high of 58.0% in 3Q2019 and an all time low of 31.1% in 4Q2022.
