Historically, phosphate rock production in Morocco reached an all time high of 28,788 kt in 2005 and an all time low of 11,399 kt in 1970. When compared to Morocco's main peers, phosphate rock production in Algeria amounted to 1,150 kt and 3,800 kt in Tunisia in 2015.
