Phosphate rock production reached 11,162 kt in 2015 in Peru, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 2.55 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, phosphate rock production in Peru reached an all time high of 14,842 kt in 2013 and an all time low of 2.51 kt in 1983. When compared to Peru's main peers, phosphate rock production in Brazil amounted to 5,600 kt, 23.0 kt in Chile and 90.5 kt in Colombia in 2015.
