Pig iron production reached 1,247 kt in 2015 in Hungary, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 55.7% more than in the previous year.
Historically, pig iron production in Hungary reached an all time high of 2,193 kt in 1981 and an all time low of 426 kt in 1980.
Hungary has been ranked 37th within the group of 52 countries we follow in terms of pig iron production.
