Postal letters sent per capita reached 82.8 in 2011 in the European Union, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 9.05% more than in the previous year.

Historically, postal letters sent per capita in the European Union reached an all time high of 94.4 in 2004 and an all time low of 76.0 in 2010.
