Historically, production of butter (cows' milk in Estonia reached an all time high of 26,849 tonnes in 1992 and an all time low of 3,400 tonnes in 2013. When compared to Estonia's main peers, production of butter (cows' milk in Finland amounted to 57,454 tonnes, 6,930 tonnes in Latvia, 16,202 tonnes in Lithuania and 253,000 tonnes in Russia in 2014.
