Production of cars per 1,000 people reached 23.5 vehicles in 2020 in the European Union, according to ACEA. This is 24.1% less than in the previous year.
Historically, production of cars per 1,000 people in the European Union reached an all time high of 34.3 vehicles in 2007 and an all time low of 23.5 vehicles in 2020.
