Production of green chilli and pepper reached 16.9 kt in 2016 in Lebanon, according to Faostat. This is 2.45 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, production of green chilli and pepper in Lebanon reached an all time high of 26.1 kt in 2010 and an all time low of 3.00 kt in 1990. When compared to Lebanon's main peers, production of green chilli and pepper in Cyprus amounted to 1.30 kt, 189 kt in Israel, 84.7 kt in Jordan and 48.7 kt in Syria in 2016.
