Production of passenger cars reached 2,851 thousand in 2020 in India, according to ACEA. This is 21.4% less than in the previous year.
Historically, production of passenger cars in India reached an all time high of 4,032 thousand in 2018 and an all time low of 192 thousand in 1992.
