Based on a comparison of 32 countries in 2011, Denmark ranked the highest in public subsidies to the private sector as a share of GDP with 1.29% followed by Cyprus and Norway. On the other end of the scale was Croatia with 0.050%, Romania with 0.120% and Czechia with 0.130%.
