Railway passengers reached 4.30 mil in 2008 in Mongolia, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 4.44% less than in the previous year.

Historically, railway passengers in Mongolia reached an all time high of 4.50 mil in 2007 and an all time low of 2.30 mil in 1993.
