Retail deposits reached 35.1 EUR bil in 2017 in Slovakia, according to the National Central Bank. This is 4.67 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, retail deposits in Slovakia reached an all time high of 35.1 EUR bil in 2017 and an all time low of 6.71 EUR bil in 1999. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, retail deposits in Austria amounted to 240 EUR bil, 2,370 CZK bil in Czech Republic, 7,738 HUF bil in Hungary and 761 PLN bil in Poland in 2017.
