Retail loans reached BGN 17.9 bil in first quarter of 2016 in Bulgaria, according to the National Central Bank. This is 1.05% less than in the previous quarter.
Historically, retail loans in Bulgaria reached an all time high of BGN 19.1 bil in 4Q2009 and an all time low of BGN 0.004 bil in 3Q1996.
Bulgaria has been ranked 42nd within the group of 48 countries we follow in terms of retail loans.
