Based on a comparison of 28 countries in 2014, France ranked the highest in reuse, recycling and recovery of end-of-life vehicles with 844 kt followed by Italy and Spain. On the other end of the scale was Liechtenstein with 0.159 kt, Malta with 1.21 kt and Luxembourg with 1.92 kt.
