Rice consumption per capita reached 2.39 kg in 2017 in Slovakia, according to Faostat. This is 7.29 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, rice consumption per capita in Slovakia reached an all time high of 6.00 kg in 1990 and an all time low of 1.25 kg in 2011. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, rice consumption per capita in Austria amounted to 5.46 kg, 6.98 kg in Czech Republic, 6.23 kg in Hungary and 1.61 kg in Poland in 2017.
