Risk premium on lending reached 5.11 % in 2012 in Singapore, according to the National Central Bank. This is 0.262 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, risk premium on lending in Singapore reached an all time high of 7.64 % in 1981 and an all time low of 2.06 % in 1989. When compared to Singapore's main peers, risk premium on lending in Malaysia amounted to 1.75 %, 4.18 % in Philippines and 2.22 % in Thailand in 2012.
