Sales of passenger cars reached 96.4 thousand in 2020 in Finland, according to ACEA. This is 15.6 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, sales of passenger cars in Finland reached an all time high of 178 thousand in 1989 and an all time low of 23.6 thousand in 1960.
Finland has been ranked 19th within the group of 31 countries we follow in terms of sales of passenger cars, 27 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
Passenger cars refer to road motor vehicles, other than two-wheelers, intended for the carriage of passengers and designed to seat no more than nine people (including the driver).
