Sales of passenger cars reached 2,651 thousand in 2022 in Germany, according to ACEA. This is 1.11% more than in the previous year.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in Germany reached an all time high of 4,159 thousand in 1991 and an all time low of 970 thousand in 1960.
