When compared to Congo's main peers, share of population using internet in Cameroon amounted to 25.0 %, 4.00 % in Central African Republic, 48.1 % in Gabon and 6.21 % in Dem. Republic of the Congo in 2016.
Congo has been ranked 165th within the group of 177 countries we follow in terms of share of population using internet, 26 places behind the position seen 10 years ago.
The percentage of individuals using the internet in the developed world had reached 70% by the end of 2011, according to ITU.
