Share of pupils at isced level 3 (gen) learning 1 foreign language reached 55.5% in 2012 in Portugal, according to Eurostat. This is 9.68% more than in the previous year.

Historically, share of pupils at isced level 3 (gen) learning 1 foreign language in Portugal reached an all time high of 64.7% in 2009 and an all time low of 38.0% in 2005.
