Tallow production reached 16,135 tonnes in 2014 in Greece, according to Faostat. This is 27.1 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, tallow production in Greece reached an all time high of 39,150 tonnes in 2000 and an all time low of 13,178 tonnes in 1961. When compared to Greece's main peers, tallow production in Bulgaria amounted to 1,615 tonnes and 468 tonnes in Macedonia in 2014.
