Total coal consumption reached 68,071 kt in 2015 in Taiwan, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 3.30% less than in the previous year.
Historically, total coal consumption in Taiwan reached an all time high of 72,281 kt in 2007 and an all time low of 6,059 kt in 1981.
