Bank of India's capital adequacy ratio reached 14.9% at the end of 2018, up from 13.5% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 14.9% in 2018 and an all time low of 10.2% in 2013.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 11.1% at the end of 2018, up from 1.84% compared to a year earlier.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 65.6% at the end of 2018, down from 65.6% when compared to the previous year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 75.4%.
