Barclays's capital adequacy ratio reached 21.1% at the end of third quarter of 2019, down from 21.4% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 21.5% in 4Q2017 and an all time low of 15.0% in 4Q2013.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 17.0% at the end of third quarter of 2019, down from 17.5% compared to the same period of last year and down from 17.4% when compared to the the previous quarter.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 82.0% at the end of 3Q2019, down from 83.0% when compared to the same period of last year.
