Ceska Sporitelna - Quarterly Capital & Liquidity

Ceska Sporitelna's capital adequacy ratio reached 25.6% at the end of fourth quarter of 2020, up from 24.7% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 25.6% in 4Q2020 and an all time low of 9.40% in 4Q2007.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 25.1% at the end of fourth quarter of 2020, up from 21.6% compared to the same period of last year and up from 24.3% when compared to the the previous quarter.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 68.3% at the end of 4Q2020, down from 72.6% when compared to the same period of last year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 65.7%.

When compared to bank's main peers, CSOB ended the fourth quarter of 2020 with a capital adequacy ratio at 24.2% and loans to deposits of 86.9%, Komercni Banka with 22.3% and 75.0% respectively and MONETA Money Bank some 18.2% in terms of capital adequacy and 87.3% of loans to deposits at the end of the fourth quarter of 2020.
