Historically, currant production in Switzerland reached an all time high of 547 tonnes in 2003 and an all time low of 33.0 tonnes in 2021. When compared to Switzerland's main peers, currant production in Austria amounted to 4,930 tonnes, 9,960 tonnes in France, 14,170 tonnes in Germany and 1,140 tonnes in Italy in 2022.
