Historically, total egg consumption in Iran reached an all time high of 852 kt in 2019 and an all time low of 53.6 kt in 1961. When compared to Iran's main peers, total egg consumption in Iraq amounted to 82.0 kt, 847 kt in Pakistan and 76.0 kt in Turkmenistan in 2021.
