Historically, foreign debt in Swaziland reached an all time high of USD 699 bil in 2010 and an all time low of USD 32.6 bil in 1972. When compared to Swaziland's main peers, foreign debt in Botswana amounted to USD 1,565 bil, USD 936 bil in Lesotho, USD 20,354 bil in Mozambique and USD 187,667 bil in South Africa in 2019.
