Historically, foreign debt in Zimbabwe reached an all time high of USD 12,741 bil in 2020 and an all time low of USD 144 bil in 1976. When compared to Zimbabwe's main peers, foreign debt in Botswana amounted to USD 1,597 bil, USD 20,932 bil in Mozambique, USD 170,767 bil in South Africa and USD 30,046 bil in Zambia in 2020.
