Historically, foreign debt in Zambia reached an all time high of USD 27,341 bil in 2019 and an all time low of USD 814 bil in 1970. When compared to Zambia's main peers, foreign debt in Angola amounted to USD 51,998 bil, USD 19,584 bil in Tanzania, USD 12,270 bil in Zimbabwe and USD 5,438 bil in Dem. Republic of the Congo in 2019.
