Historically, foreign debt in Zambia reached an all time high of USD 30,046 bil in 2020 and an all time low of USD 814 bil in 1970. When compared to Zambia's main peers, foreign debt in Angola amounted to USD 67,287 bil, USD 25,538 bil in Tanzania, USD 12,741 bil in Zimbabwe and USD 6,137 bil in Dem. Republic of the Congo in 2020.
