Indian Overseas Bank's capital adequacy ratio reached 10.2% at the end of 2018, up from 9.25% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 26.7% in 2006 and an all time low of 9.25% in 2017.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 7.85% at the end of 2018, up from 7.17% compared to a year earlier.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 59.6% at the end of 2018, down from 61.1% when compared to the previous year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 76.6%.
