Vietnamese banking sector accepted customer deposits of VND 6,810,038 bil in 2017, up 14.6% when compared to the last year.
MBBank accounted for 3.23% of all customer deposits taken by banks in Vietnam at the end of 2017. Historically, the bank’s market share in customer deposits reached an all time high of 3.97% in 2012 and an all time low of 1.82% in 2006.
That's compared to a 3.25% market share the bank held in terms of total assets at the end of 2017.
