Non-performing loans rose 51.0% yoy to TRY 96.7 bil in Turkey in 4Q2018, according to the National Central Bank. This is 12.2% more than in the previous quarter.
Historically, non-performing loans in Turkey reached an all time high of TRY 96.7 bil in 4Q2018 and an all time low of TRY 5.89 bil in 2Q2004.
Turkey has been ranked 9th within the group of 17 countries we follow in terms of non-performing loans, 10 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
