Historically, retail loans in Slovakia reached an all time high of USD 39.3 bil in 2017 and an all time low of USD 0.822 bil in 1996. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, retail loans in Austria amounted to USD 180 bil, USD 71.7 bil in Czech Republic, USD 20.7 bil in Hungary and USD 193 bil in Poland in 2017.
