Royal Bank of Scotland Group generated total banking revenues of GBP 3,077 mil in the third quarter of 2019, down 20.7% when compared to the same period of last year and 28.8% when compared to the previous quarter.
Historically, the bank’s revenues containing of interest, fee and other non-interest income reached an all time high of GBP 7,932 mil in 2Q2010 and an all time low of GBP 1,735 mil in 4Q2013. The average revenue in the last six quarters amounted to GBP 3,591 mil.
Net interest income represented 65.2% of total revenues, fee income contributed 20.2% and other non-interest income added further 14.6% to the overall revenue generation in 3Q2019.
Bank's total revenues accounted for 1.59% total assets in the third quarter of 2019, down from 2.16% a year earlier.
