Historically, share of population using internet in Rwanda reached an all time high of 20.0% in 2016 and an all time low of 0% in 2006. When compared to Rwanda's main peers, share of population using internet in Burundi amounted to 5.17%, 13.0% in Tanzania, 21.9% in Uganda and 6.21% in Dem. Republic of the Congo in 2016.
