Total primary coal production fell 97.0% to 0.100 kt in Albania in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, total primary coal production in Albania reached an all time high of 2,417 kt in 1989 and an all time low of 0.100 kt in 2015. When compared to Albania's main peers, total primary coal production in Greece amounted to 50,977 kt, 9,084 kt in Kosovo, 6,543 kt in Macedonia and 1,954 kt in Montenegro in 2015.
