UniCredit Bank Czecho-Slovakia's capital adequacy ratio reached 22.8% at the end of second quarter of 2023, up from 22.3% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 23.6% in 4Q2020 and an all time low of 14.5% in 4Q2015.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 22.5% at the end of second quarter of 2023, up from 21.4% compared to the same period of last year and up from 22.0% when compared to the the previous quarter.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 72.9% at the end of 2Q2023, up from 72.6% when compared to the same period of last year.
When compared to bank's main peers, Ceska Sporitelna ended the second quarter of 2023 with a capital adequacy ratio at 19.4% and loans to deposits of 66.7%, CSOB with 20.3% and 60.2% respectively and Komercni Banka some 20.0% in terms of capital adequacy and 73.1% of loans to deposits at the end of the second quarter of 2023.
