Based on a comparison of 127 countries in 2023, Ukraine ranked the highest in non-performing loans as a share of bank loans with 38.1% followed by Chad and Equatorial Guinea. On the other end of the scale was South Korea with 0.242%, Sweden with 0.304% and Lithuania with 0.396%.
