Based on a comparison of 11 banks in Bulgaria in 2016, DSK Bank had the most employees, followed by UniCredit Bulbank and First Investment Bank.

DSK Bank employed 4,679 persons in 2016, up 3.94% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 4,736 persons in 2012 and an all time low of 3,569 in 2006.

Average cost reached BGN 2,001 per month per month per employee, 3.21% more than a year ago. This figure was BGN 1,511 per month some 10 years ago.
