What Banks in Czechia Had the Lowest Loan to Deposit Ratio in 2017?

Based on a comparison of 25 banks in Czechia in 2017, Akcenta operated with the lowest loan to deposit ratio, followed by Fio banka and PPF Banka.

Akcenta's loan to deposit ratio reached 1.52% at the end of 2017, up from 1.19% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s loans to deposits hit an all time high of 1.93% in 2012 and an all time low of 0.581% in 2013.

Comparing Akcenta with its closest peers, Fio banka ended the year 2017 with loans to deposits at 12.7%, PPF Banka with 21.1% and Air Bank some 43.3% of loans to deposits at the end of 2017.

Overall, total loans of the Czech banking sector amounted to 74.0% of deposits at the end of 2017.
